For me Canary Wharf is a great place to work, shop, eat and have a fun evening with friends.  I first worked there when the wharf was new, when there were no shops, not even Tesco and only a single tower. Getting lunch meant leaving the wharf.  It’s now bustling with activity, has Tesco, Waitrose, M&S and a range of other shops covering everything from Games and Gadgets to Fine Fashion. It’s got so busy extra escalators are being installed in places to cope with the extra pedestrian traffic.

The wharf holds a number of events through the year, with a number of fashion shows letting the likes of Karen Millen, Warehouse, Austin Reed, Church’s, Levi’s, T.M.Lewin, L.K. Bennett, Dune, J.D Sports, Reiss and more to show off the latest seasons fashion.

I’d love to have seen something from Bespoke Tailoring at The South Colonnade. It wouldn’t have been off the peg wear and might have got a few more customers thinking about owning something one-off and unique.
