With the profile sites still very much on my mind I thought I’d share another tip. Or maybe that should be make a request.

If you’re looking to get into modelling properly find yourself a photographer with a camera. Forget the self portraits taken at arms length with a phone in bad light. If a phone is all you have for initial images and you’re still hunting for a local ‘tog to help you, use it. They’re generally slow devices so avoid any shake at all costs. And use or bring some quality light, a LOT more than your average room lights.

If you make this effort it will show in your images and send a better message to those that might wish to work with you.

And have your first photographer think about composition, feet cropped out at the ankles doesn’t look great.
